Dry-Treat Acidic Cleaner

Formerly known as Eff-Erayza™, our Acidic Cleaner is a powerful solution designed to remove efflorescence, grout haze, rust marks, limescale, soap scum, fireplace soot, and mortar residue from a wide range of non-acid-sensitive stones and hard surfaces. Safer to use than traditional industrial acids like Muriatic Acid, this non-fuming formula provides effective cleaning indoors and outdoors on floors, walls, facades, showers, masonry, and brickwork.

How to Use:

1. Test the product on a small area to check acid sensitivity before full application.
2. Sweep or vacuum all loose dust and dirt from the surface.
3. Apply the solution when the surface temperature is between 40 – 95 °F (5 – 35 °C) after pre-wetting the surface with water.
4. Pour, brush, or spray the mixed solution generously onto the wetted surface and leave for up to 3 minutes.
5. Do not allow the solution to dry on the surface. Clean large areas in sections.
6. Rub with a white nylon scrub pad or similar to clean the surface.
7. Always neutralize the acid by dissolving 1 cup of STAIN-PROOF™ Alkaline Cleaner (or other pH base/alkaline cleaner) into a bucket of fresh water and pouring it over the surface. Let it sit for approximately 3 minutes.
8. Rinse the surface thoroughly several times with clean water using a mop or wet vacuum.
